Jackals See the Scope for the Final Time this Season

NORFOLK, VA - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, will make their final stop at the Norfolk Scope tonight in the tail-end of a weekend set against the Admirals.

MAGNIFYING THE MATCHUP
Tonight the Jackals will pay their final visit of the season to the Scope in Norfolk. Last night the Admirals scored first but the Jackals answered back with two goals in the second period including the first professional goal for Ian Young. Cason Hohmann scored his 11th goal of the season in his return from injury. However, a late power-play goal by Michael Pelech tied the game and sent it to overtime where Gabriel Verpaelst scored the game-winning goal.Elmira was victorious in the only other meeting at the Scope on November 10, 4-3. The Jackals are 3-2-1 in six meetings with Norfolk this year. Mike Seidel has three goals and three assists in six games against Norfolk this season, while Kevin Clare has three goals and Chris Langkow has five assists.
