THE MATCHUP

The South Carolina Stingrays host the rival Greenville Swamp Rabbits this evening on South Carolina Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center Pack the House Night. A capacity crowd of over 10,000 is hoping to cheer the Stingrays to a second straight win. Last night, South Carolina snapped a five-game winless streak with a 4-1 victory over Atlanta. The Swamp Rabbits were in action on home ice last night, falling 6-3 to the Evansville IceMen. Tonight is the fifth meeting of the season between the Stingrays and the Swamp Rabbits. Greenville is 3-1-0-0 versus South Carolina, but the Stingrays won the last meeting, 5-1 at the North Charleston Coliseum on December 12.

THAT'S MORE LIKE IT

The Stingrays opened the weekend with a 4-1 victory over Atlanta last night. The Stingrays got strong defense and goaltending and outshot the Gladiators 30-25. One of the league's strongest defensive teams, the Stingrays got back on track after going winless in five straight games. In those losses, the Stingrays had allowed 20 goals.

PACAN ON A ROLL

Forward David Pacan has been a key part of the Stingrays success of late. The forward has a goal in three straight games. Pacan now leads the Stingrays with 12 goals on the season. Pacan's career best for goals in a season was 14 as a member of the Cincinnati Cyclones in 2012-13. He was a member of the ECHL All-Rookie Team that season.

CAMERON BREAKS OUT

Brett Cameron enjoyed a strong night in a 4-1 win versus Atlanta yesterday. Cameron scored a pair of goals, including the game-winning goal, to lead the Stingrays to a 4-1 win over Atlanta. Cameron's two-goal performance was his first multi-goal game since a 2-1 win on Opening Night versus Reading. The rookie forward has 25 points, including 11 goals, this season.

THE OTHER CAMERON

While Brett Cameron is a fan-favorite in South Carolina, Bretton Cameron of the Swamp Rabbits has been a thorn in the Stingrays side. The Swap Rabbits captain has four goals and an assist in four games this season versus South Carolina.
