IN JUST A FEW HOURS...

The Elmira Jackals attempt to take the advantage in their best-of-five Eastern Quarterfinal Series against the Greenville Road Warriors when the teams play Game 3 at 7:35 p.m. The Jackals tied the series at a game apiece on Wednesday with a 6-3 win at First Arena in Game 2.

FOUR-GOAL THIRD SETS NEW MARK

The Jackals' explosive third stanza on Wednesday night marked the first time in Kelly Cup Playoff competition that they scored four goals in a period. The third period also helped Elmira tie its club postseason record in ECHL play of six goals in a game.

COUSINEAU COMES THROUGH

Jackals goaltender Marco Cousineau came through in a big way on Wednesday. The rookie from St. Lazare, Quebec entered in the first period with Elmira trailing, 2-1, and made 23 saves on 24 shots for his first-career postseason victory.
