IN JUST A FEW HOURS...

The Elmira Jackals will try to clinch a playoff spot as they host the Trenton Devils at First Arena at 7:35 p.m.

With a win, the Jackals would seal up a spot in the Kelly Cup Playoffs for the third-straight season. The Jackals enter the weekend possibly two wins away from clinching the American East Division title, but they would need the Reading Royals to lose two games as well.

The Jackals have one more regular season home game after tonight's game, as they welcome the Royals to Elmira on Wednesday night at 7:05 p.m.

ANOTHER RECORD LOOMS

The Jackals are three goals away from setting a new team record for goals scored in one season. Elmira has tallied 258 goals as of this point, two away from the team record of 260, accomplished in 2000-2001 and 2001-2002. The Jackals lead the ECHL at 3.91 goals per game.
