IN JUST A FEW HOURS...

The Elmira Jackals return to the Cambria County War Memorial Arena in Johnstown, Pa. to take on the Wheeling Nailers at 7:05 p.m. The game is Elmira's first at War Memorial Arena since the Jackals defeated Johnstown, 5-3, in the Chiefs' final home game before relocating to Greenville, S.C. on Apr. 3, 2010. Elmira enters the action after beating the Trenton Titans at First Arena on Friday night, 4-3, despite being outshot 32-13 in the contest. The Nailers blanked the Toledo Walleye in Johnstown on Friday, 3-0.

DIVISIONAL STREAK ON THE LINE AGAIN

The Jackals have earned points in 13-straight Atlantic Division games, dating back to Nov. 26. Elmira is 12-0-1-0 during this stretch, with the lone blemish occurring last Friday in an overtime loss on the road to Reading. The Jackals have not lost a game in regulation to a divisional opponent since Nov. 25, when they fell at home to the Titans. Elmira is in front of Wheeling by six points for first place in the Atlantic.

VIEW FROM THE TOP

Since overtaking Gwinnett for first place in the Eastern Conference on Dec. 31, the Jackals have not looked back, currently leading the Gladiators by two points for the top spot. Elmira leads the conference with 25 victories and is seven wins away from equaling its 2010-2011 victory total of 32.
