
ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Chicago's DiDiomete fined, suspended
Chicago's Devin DiDiomete has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #374, Chicago at Cincinnati, on Jan. 20.
DiDiomete was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for spearing under Rule #62.3 at 19:34 of the third period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
DiDiomete will miss Chicago's game at Cincinnati tonight.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Cincinnati's Eves fined, suspended
Cincinnati's Dan Eves has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #374, Chicago at Cincinnati, on Jan. 20.
Eves was assessed a match penalty for slashing under Rule #61.4 at 19:34 of the third period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Eves will miss Cincinnati's game against Chicago tonight.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Wheeling's Schnell fined
Wheeling's Ryan Schnell has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #382, Toledo at Wheeling, on Jan. 20.
Schnell was assessed a game misconduct under Rule #39.5 at 17:28 of the second period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
