Colorado Eagles News Release

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Colorado Eagles of the ECHL announced today that the league's leading scorer, Chad Costello, has been loaned to an American Hockey League team for the second time within the past three weeks. This time he'll be joining the Worcester Sharks, and his former linemate Jack Combs.

Costello currently leads the ECHL in points (57), assists (35) & plus/minus rating (+21), and is tied for second in goals (22). He's also riding a nine-game point streak that's tied for the second-longest in the league.

Like Costello, Combs was the ECHL's leading scorer when he was loaned to Worcester in mid-December. Despite playing in just 27 ECHL games, he still ranks among the current top-10 in points (37). He's carried that success into the AHL, registering 12 points (6-6-12) in 15 games with the Sharks.

The two players were not only linemates to start the season with Colorado, but also last season with the Tulsa Oilers of the Central Hockey League.
