Elmira Jackals News Release

IN JUST A FEW HOURS...*

The Elmira Jackals will try to extend their road point-earning streak to seven games when they close out the weekend in Reading against the Royals.

*SWEETLAND'S BIG NIGHT*

Andrew Sweetland notched the first hat trick of his career in last night's 7-2 Jackals victory in Trenton, scoring Elmira's second, third, and sixth goals of the game. Sweetland also had two assists in the win, giving him a five-point night, the most productive game for an ECHL player this season.

*SHORT-HANDED SPECIALISTS*

In addition to stopping the Devils on seven power-play chances, Elmira struck twice short handed on Saturday for its third and fourth goals while down a man this season. The four short-handed goals is the second-highest total in the league. Elmira had 10 short-handed goals last season. *The Elmira Jackals: Our Town, Our Team* *UPCOMING FIRST ARENA EVENTS*
