ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, raised $25,400 through fundraising efforts for the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley, including a game-worn specialty jersey auction following the team's 4-1 loss to the Las Vegas Wranglers on Saturday night.

Las Vegas accounted for all of the offense in the first two periods. Vince Bellissimo made it 1-0 in the first period on a wrap-around goal and Ned Lukacevic scored with a snap shot in the second while the Wranglers were on the power play.

The Reign's Chaz Johnson caused a slight delay in the second period when he bloodied Dan Bertram's nose in a fight, forcing the ice crew to perform some cleanup duty before play could continue.

Blake Gallagher extended the Wrangler's lead to 3-0 at 4:14 of the third before Shawn Collymore spoiled the shutout. Collymore picked up a rebound and did a spin-o-rama move before he buried the puck in the empty side of the net. But the lead was too much to overcome, as Las Vegas won 4-1 after adding an empty-net goal.
