IN JUST A FEW HOURS...

The Elmira Jackals will attempt to clinch a spot in the 2010 Kelly Cup Playoffs when they take on the Kalamazoo Wings at 7:00 p.m. at Wings Stadium. The Jackals need to defeat the K-Wings and then have Gwinnett lose to Reading in regulation in order to clinch a playoff berth.

If both scenarios occur, the Gladiators, the only team currently outside of the playoff picture that could beat out the Jackals for a spot in the playoffs, could only tie the Jackals at 79 points. The first tiebreaker of wins could be equaled by the Gladiators at 36, but the second tiebreaker of head-to-head points would go to Elmira, which went 3-0-0-0 against Gwinnett this season for a total of six points against the Gladiators compared to Gwinnnett's zero against Elmira.
