Kalamazoo Wings News Release
Returning home for just the third-time in the month of March, the Kalamazoo Wings will host the Elmira Jackals at Wings Stadium. On the season, the K-Wings are 2-0-0-0 versus the Jackals, who are making their first trip to Kalamazoo since the 2005-06 season.
Battling for the top spot in not only the North Division, but the American Conference, the K-Wings enter Wings Stadium one point behind the Cincinnati Cyclones for first place in the division and four points behind the South Carolina Stingrays for the top spot in the conference.
Snapping a eight-game road winning streak last night at the U.S. Bank Arena to Cincinnati, Elmira comes to Wings Stadium looking to clinch a playoff berth. The Jackals, who are four points shy of punching their playoff ticket, can clinch tonight with a win and a regulation loss by the Gwinnett Gladiators.
