Atlanta Gladiators News Release

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that they have signed Dan Rosen, a goaltender out of Brown University. His signing comes in the wake of starting goaltender Danny Taylor's sixth call-up to the American Hockey League's Syracuse Crunch this season. Rosen joins the Gladiators after wrapping up his senior season with the Bears.

In four seasons at Brown, the Soyosset, New York native appeared in 76 games, turning in a record of 16-39-11, a.915 save percentage, and a 3.29 goals against average. The 5-foot-11, 160-pound net minder appeared in nine games as a senior, finishing with an 0-2 record, a 5.83 goals against average, and a.850 save percentage.

Prior to skating at Brown, Rosen spent two junior seasons in the United States Hockey League from 2004 to 2006, appearing with the Green Bay Gamblers, Omaha Lancers, and Waterloo Black Hawks.

The Gladiators continue their 7th season in the ECHL on Wednesday, March 24th vs. Reading at 7:05 p.m. The Gladiators are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers and Columbus Blue Jackets and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
