
"Pucks And Paws" Game Coming Sunday at 4:00 p.m.

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, a two-time recipient of the ECHL "Award of Excellence," announced the inaugural Carter's Pet Mart presents "Pucks and Paws" event, hosted by the Thunder, is scheduled for Sunday, March 28 for the 4:00 p.m. home game against the Las Vegas Wranglers at Stockton Arena.
A special home game event geared to celebrate and combine hockey with canine lovers, the Thunder is offering special ticket packages and events during the game for fans who would like to bring their dog to the game.
Discounted ticket packages for $10 to all fans and $5 per dog are available and include a free dog bandana (to the first 200 dogs in attendance - courtesy of Iams/Eukanuba). Ticket packages also include admission to a special pet fair on the "Fan Deck" of Stockton Arena, featuring various pet vendor booths offering complimentary pet food and other samples, nearby special seating to accommodate owners and dogs attending the game.
All fans bringing a dog to the game are asked to dress their pet in the most creative or hockey-aligned outfit and will have the opportunity to capture the special day at a free pet photo booth courtesy of Stockton's Caroline Photography. A chance to proudly showcase the legion of hockey-dressed dogs, all owners and pets in attendance are also invited to take part in the inaugural "dog parade" event during the first intermission on the Fan Deck!
Ticket packages for Carter's Pet Mart presents "Pucks and Paws" are still available and can be purchased by calling the Thunder at (209) 373-1500. Portion of ticket proceeds will benefit the Stockton Animal Shelter Friends organization.
NEXT HOME GAME The Thunder continues the seven-game homestand with its next game on Friday, March 26 at 7:30 p.m., hosting the Las Vegas Wranglers at Stockton Arena. The game can be heard and viewed online exclusively at www.stocktonthunder.com, courtesy of B2 Networks (audio is free of charge).
