GLENS FALLS, NY - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, open their weekend slate with the first of a home-and-home set against the Adirondack Thunder in Glens Falls, NY.

MAGNIFYING THE MATCHUP
The Jackals and Thunder continue their 11-game season series with a home-and-home weekend starting tonight in Glens Falls. The last time the pack paid a visit to the Glens Falls Civic Center they dismantled the Thunder, 8-0. The Jackals' winning margin set a new high mark in the ECHL that still stands. Eleven different players registered at least one point and seven Jackals recorded multi-point efforts. Allan McPherson led the way with four points, which was his second consecutive four-point game. C.J. Motte turned aside all 28 Thunder shots to earn his second shutout of the season. Tomorrow's meeting at First Arena will be the final matchup between the Jackals and Thunder in Elmira this season. The two teams split the previous weekend set in Elmira on Feb.19-20. The Jackals won the first contest 2-1 in the shootout but fell to Adirondack the next night 3-1. The Jackals are 2-3-0 at home against the Thunder and 4-4-0 in the overall season series.
