ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Thursday announced the following fines and suspensions resulting from ECHL Game #810, Missouri at Allen, on March 9.

Allen's Spencer Asuchak has been suspended indefinitely and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline as the result of an unpenalized slew foot at 15:57 of the first period.

Asuchak will miss Allen's games against Wichita on March 12 and March 13 and any further discipline will be announced on Monday.

Missouri's C.J. Ludwig has been suspended indefinitely and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. Ludwig was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for clipping under Rule #44.5 at 18:08 of the first period.

Ludwig will miss Missouri's game against Tulsa on March 11 and any further discipline will be announced on Monday.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
