March 10, 2016 - ECHL (ECHL)
Alaska Aces News Release

ANCHORAGE, ALASKA - The Alaska Aces will be honoring our community's first responders at Friday night's game against the Fort Wayne Komets.

The Anchorage Police and Fire Departments will be taking part in the festivities, with a special Honor Guard to present the Flag, former Aces players/now fire fighters participating in the ceremonial puck drop, and information booths on the concourses.

Additionally, the intermission periods will be filled with fun and excitement, as the APD and AFD personnel will be displaying their expertise in a variety of ways, including rappelling from the rafters, a canine demonstration and special rigs that the departments use when responding to emergencies.

The former Aces who are now employed by the Anchorage Fire Department include Tim Molle, Dustin Molle and Bryant Molle, Bryan Majeske, Jim Tobin, Jim Mayes, Matt Evans, Drew O'Connell, Marc Nokelby and Zach Westin.

It will be fun for the entire family as the Alaska Aces take on the Fort Wayne Komets at the Sullivan Arena. Come and enjoy ECHL hockey, and help us honor the community's first responders Friday night.

For tickets, stop by the Aces ticket office, open 9am to 5pm, or go online at alaskaaces.com.
