NORTH LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS (JULY 12, 2015) - J.T. Wise hit a go-ahead, two-run home run in the seventh inning to lift the Frisco RoughRiders, 2-1, over the Arkansas Travelers on Sunday at Stephens-Dickey Park. The win marks a season-high fifth in a row for the RoughRiders.

Travs pitcher Eduard Santos (3-2) relieved starter Michael Brady to begin the seventh inning. Santos had not allowed a hit in his last 10 innings, but a leadoff walk and a blast from Wise put Frisco ahead 2-1. The home run is Wise's fifth this season and second against Arkansas.

Arkansas broke a scoreless game in the sixth on a sacrifice fly from pinch hitter Cal Towey. Jose Monegro (1-0) picked up the win despite giving up the lead in his only inning of work.

Riders starter Frank Lopez skated around trouble, stranding six runners over five innings. The southpaw's only perfect frame came in his final inning. He walked three and struck out four in the no-decision effort.

Brady worked six innings and struck out a season-high nine batters but did not factor in the decision.

Arkansas (8-9, 44-42) got a leadoff single in the seventh inning against Juan Grullon, but for the second conseuctive night a caught stealing erased the tying run on the base paths. Grullon proceeded to retire the next seven batters before David Martinez recorded the final out to secure the series win for Frisco.

The RoughRiders (10-6, 39-47) wrap up their six-game road trip on Monday behind LHP Chad Bell (3-9). The team returns to the Metroplex on July 15 for a four-game home stand against Corpus Christi (Houston Astros). The first 2,000 fans will take home a free RoughRiders Jersey Pillow on July 17 and don't miss Back to the Future Night on July 18.
