Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs News Release


Mudbugs hockey has gone to the dogs! For our last Sunday afternoon game of the season at the CenturyTel Center , the Mudbugs would like to invite you to bring your best friend to the game against the Austin Ice Bats for our annual Pooch Party!

Bring your dog with you to the 4:05 pm game and get a $9.00 discounted ticket. The first 100 dogs at the game will also receive free gift bags courtesy of Banfield Pet Hospital . All dogs and owners must enter and depart through the doors located adjacent to the Swamp Shack, and all dogs will be checked for proof of shots and tags prior to entering. All dogs and owners will be seated in section 104, but will be allowed in the concourse. Please be sure to have dogs leashed at all times at the game and aggressive dogs will be required to leave. Sod and water stations will be located at the pooch party entrance and cleaning supplies will be available as you enter the arena.

The game against red-hot Austin will finish out a home-and-home set with the Ice Bats and another three-in-three weekend as well. The Mudbugs take on Austin Saturday night on the road at the Chaparral Ice Center in their second meeting of the year with the Bats. Friday night at home against Odessa, Bossier-Shreveport beat Odessa 9-0 in its most dominating victory of the season.

The puck will drop at 4:05 pm on Sunday for the Pooch Party game between the Mudbugs and Ice Bats. Individual tickets are available through Ticketmaster at 318-741-9700 or purchase group tickets by calling the Mudbugs office at 318-752-BUGS.
