Isotopes and I-Cubs Postponed Again

For the second time in four days, inclement weather in Des Moines has forced the postponement of Thursday's contest between the Albuquerque Isotopes and Iowa Cubs at Principal Park. No make-up date has yet been scheduled.
A steady freezing drizzle began early Thursday morning with reports indicating it would only get worse as the morning wore on, prompting the decision to postpone the contest.
The Isotopes will return to warmer climes tomorrow to face the Oklahoma RedHawks, Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers in the highly anticipated home opener at Isotopes Park. In addition to the usual Opening Night pomp and circumstance, the âTopes will be giving away Isotopes Hats to the first 3,000 fans courtesy of Sandia Resort and Casino.
