Isabel's Two Homers Propel Lookouts to Fourth Straight Win

Lookouts slugger Ibandel Isabel belted two home runs to propel the Lookouts to a 6-4 win over the Blioxi Shuckers on Star Wars Night at AT&T Field.

Isabel's first homer came in the first inning off of Major League pitcher Freddy Peralta. In his rehab start, the starter allowed three earned runs in 4.2 innings while striking out seven batters.

The home team remained up by two until the fifth inning when Jose Siri smacked an RBI double. Top prospect Taylor Trammell followed that up with an RBI single to make it 4-0. Starting pitcher Rob Wooten delivered a great performace for the Lookouts. The righty only surrendered one earned run on four hits in six innings. His only blemishes came in he sixth when he allowed a Trent Grisham homer and a Patrick Leonard RBI triple.

In the bottom of the sixth, Ibandel smacked his second home run, this time over the center field wall. An inning later, reliever Ty Boyles belted a double to score Alfredo Rodriguez who reached on a leadoff double.

Shuckers infielder Bruce Caldwell belted a two run shot to make it 6-4, but Alex Powers threw a hitless inning to earn his fourth save.

Tomorrow, the Lookouts become the Montañas de Chattanooga for Copa de la Diversión and Hispanic Heritage Day at AT&T Field. The game is set to begin at 2:15 with gates opening at 1:00 p.m.
