Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The Pigs (56-56) play Game Three of a four-game series against the first-place Rochester Red Wings (61-52) -- who took sole possession of the North Division lead on Monday for the first time since June 28, 2006 (a span of 2,588 days)... With a 2-1 win yesterday, the Pigs snapped a three-game skid to Rochester and finished July having emerged victorious in four of their last six games. Even so, the Pigs remain just 6-11 in their last 17 affairs and have posted just a 16-22 record since June 23... The Red Wings -- Minnesota's top affiliate -- snapped their season-high, seven-game winning streak -- falling one victory shy of what would have been their longest streak since an eight-gamer in 2006. Still, the Wings have won 20 of their last 27 games and are 41-22 since May 27 -- the second-best mark in the IL (0.5 games behind Durham)... Though Rochester has won eight of the last 10 in the series, the Pigs took the first set in Allentown, 3-1, from May 18-21.

LHP Adam Morgan (1-5, 4.44) will start for LHV against LHP Logan Darnell (2-2, 5.08).

Tonight is IronPigs Team Card Set Giveaway Night, presented by Verizon Wireless... First-Pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
