Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders News Release
Moosic, Pa. - As a successful first season in a new home with a new identity comes to a close, the curtain has been slightly lifted on season two. The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple-A/New York Yankees) proudly unveil the schedule for their 2014 campaign at the new PNC Field. The season begins on Thursday, April 3 when the club kicks off a seven-game road trip at Syracuse against the Chiefs (Washington Nationals). "Our first season has been fantastic and we are excited to show NEPA a piece of the 2014 puzzle," said RailRiders president and general manager, Rob Crain. "We are looking forward to a strong finish in 2013 and with only 16 games remaining, there is a small window to be a part of the inaugural season at PNC Field.
