Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The Pigs (19-25) play the finale of a four-game series against the fifth-place Rochester Red Wings (18-27)... With a 14-5 win last night, the Pigs have now won three of their last four games while improving to 2-1 on this eight-game homestand. Still, Lehigh Valley is just 5-9 in its last 14 affairs... The Red Wings -- Minnesota's top affiliate -- have won three of their last five contests after falling to a season-high 10 games below .500 (15-25). After starting 2-11, the Red Wings have gone 16-16 since April 18.
LHP Greg Smith (1-2, 3.50 in REA) will start for LHV against RHP Virgil Vasquez (2-2, 4.42).
Tonight is Erik Kratz Bobblehead Doll Night, presented by Nacci Printing, Inc... First-pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
