
Ironbirds salvage finale with Cutters

Brandon Leibrandt (1-1) was spectacular for the first five innings without allowing a hit. But in the sixth inning he was touched up for four runs on five hits in suffering his first loss as a Crosscutter.
Jiandido Tromp hit his third homer in as many days, his twelfth of the year a solo shot in the sixth inning to cut the Aberdeen lead to 4-3. He also reclaimed the team RBI lead with 30.
With the loss the Cutters remain within three games of the wild card lead.
