Iowa Wild Reassigns Goaltender Adam Vay to Rapid City Rush

DES MOINES, IOWA - Iowa Wild General Manager Brent Flahr announced today the American Hockey League (AHL) club has reassigned goaltender Adam Vay to Rapid City Rush of the ECHL.

Vay, 24 (3/22/1994), was with the Wild for one game, serving in a backup role. In the AHL this season, he has a 0-1-1-0 record with a 4.91 goals against average and a .868 save percentage. The 6-foot-5, 210-pound native of Budapest, Hungary has appeared in 31 games for the Rush this season, going 12-15-1-1 with a 3.35 goals against average and a .905 save percentage.

Iowa battles Grand Rapids Wednesday night as a part of a four-game road trip. Puck drop is at 6:00 p.m. CT.
