Iowa Energy Finish Season with Win

Des Moines, Iowa - The Iowa Energy (26-24) won 119-95 over the Erie BayHawks (12-38) Saturday night at Wells Fargo Arena.

The Energy were led by Ramon Harris with 21 points, 12 rebounds and three assists. Andrew Harrison added 19 points, three rebounds and five assists. Myck Kabongo led Erie with 28 points and five rebounds.

It was a close start to the game between the Energy and BayHawks. Iowa briefly opened up an eight-point lead. Ramon Harris and Terry Whisnant led the Energy with six points each. Iowa held a 24-22 advantage heading into the second quarter. The Energy opened it up in the second half extending their lead to 16 points as they outscored the BayHawks 37-25 in the quarter. Harris and Harrison led Iowa with 13 first half points as Iowa led 61-47 at halftime.

The Energy kept it rolling in the second half. Iowa opened up a 34-point lead behind 54 percent shooting. The Energy led 98-66 at the end of the third quarter. The Energy cruised to a 119-95 win in the fourth to finish the season winning eight of the last nine games to finish the season with a 26-24 record.
