
Intimidators Home Stand Preview: Fireworks, Baseball Card Bonanza Highlight Home Stand

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (August 12, 2015) -- The Kannapolis Intimidators are planning for an exciting weekend at Intimidators Stadium supported by Carolinas HealthCare System with a three-game home stand against the Hagerstown Suns (Washington Nationals) starting on Friday, August 14. The Intimidators, Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, have only 12 home games left in the 2015 regular season, and fans still have a chance to get out to the ballpark to enjoy fun promotions and action-packed baseball before the final out of the campaign.

It's our final Get Healthy Kannapolis Night of the 2015 season, and the Intimidators are offering discounted healthy snacks at our concessions stand all game long. Fans can also take our physical challenge outside the main entrance to purchase a $5 reserved ticket. Friday night also features drink specials, select 16 oz. Left Field Lager draft beers for only $2.00. Every Friday this season, fans can purchase a $5 wristband in the team store to support the Jeff Gordon Children's Foundation and receive a voucher good for a free Pepsi product at any ballpark concessions stand (a $3 value).

It's one of our final fireworks shows of the season, presented by Springhill Suites in Concord and SREE Hotels. Saturday night we also welcome the Town of Harrisburg to the ballpark.

The Intimidators are hosting a Baseball Card Bonanza where the first 200 kids (14 & under) will be able to draw a pack of baseball cards out of our mystery box. Available card sets will not only include past Intimidators card sets as well as South Atlantic League prospect sets, but there will also be two autographed sets from both the 2014 and 2015 Intimidators teams. Gates open at 4 p.m., so arrive early. Plus every Sunday is Kids Day presented by Cornerstone Church featuring pre-game player autographs (from 4:20 p.m. to 4:40 p.m.) and post-game kids run the bases.
