
Intimidators fall to Legends in series opener

Kannapolis, NC - The Intimidators scored in first inning but managed not to push another run across home plate in a 2-1 loss to Lexington in front of 1,550 at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium.
Offensively, Kannapolis pushed a run across the plate in the first frame on a two-out RBI double from Mark Fleisher to plate Sergio Morales. The Intimidators managed only five other hits. Kannapolis stranded Logan Johnson in the ninth at first. Christian Marrero struck out to end the game.
On the mound, Santo Luis struck out nine in five innings. He gave up just two hits and an unearned run in the no-decision.
The loss is the third straight for Kannapolis. After being shutout last night in West Virginia, the Intimidators have scored just one run in the past two games.
