Inter Miami CF Announces Protected List for 2021 MLS Expansion Draft

Inter Miami CF News Release

Inter Miami CF announced today the Club's list of protected players for the 2021 Major League Soccer (MLS) Expansion Draft for newcomers Charlotte FC. Fans can follow this year's edition, set for Tuesday, December 14 at 7 p.m. ET, live on MLSsoccer.com and the MLS mobile app.

The list consists of 17 protected players, 12 of them selected by the Club as required by MLS, and five of them automatically protected due to their Homegrown or Generation adidas status.

The offseason roster building events continue with the End-of-Year Waivers process on Wednesday, Dec. 15, the Re-Entry Process Stage 1 on Friday, Dec. 17 and the Re-Entry Process Stage 2 on Thursday, Dec. 23.
