
Timbers Announce Roster Status Ahead of 2022 MLS Season

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers have exercised their 2022 contract option on seven players and declined their options on three players, the team announced today. The Timbers picked up the contract options on Diego Chara, Dario Zuparic, Cristhian Paredes, Andy Polo, Marvin Loría, Blake Bodily and Zac McGraw.
The Timbers declined 2022 contract options on Ismaila Jome, Jorge Gonzalez and Manny Perez. Additionally, Renzo Zambrano is out of contract.
Currently, the club is in contract discussions with Sebastián Blanco, Steve Clark, Aljaz Ivacic and Josecarlos Van Rankin.
