
Inter Miami CF Announces Protected List for 2020 MLS Expansion Draft

Inter Miami CF has announced its protected player list ahead of the 2020 Major League Soccer (MLS) Expansion Draft for newcomers Austin FC.
The list consists of 15 total protected players, 12 chosen by the Club as required by MLS and three who are automatically protected due to Homegrown or Generation adidas status.
The 2020 MLS Expansion Draft will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 6 p.m. ET live on MLSsoccer.com, MLS App, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. MLS's 27th franchise Austin FC may select up to five players from the eligible pool, claiming only a single player from any one club ahead of its inaugural season in the league in 2021.
