Inferno auction black jerseys, give arena update

Columbia Inferno News Release


The Columbia Inferno will be conducting an on-line auction on our black 2007-08 game worn jerseys starting immediately. Each jersey will start with a $200 bid. E-mail Wendy Hennessy at wendyh@columbiainferno.com or call the Inferno office at 256-7825 if you are interested in a particular jersey. Each bid will go up in increments of $25. The jersey auction will end on Friday, October 24 at 12pm. All jerseys will need to be picked up by Friday, October 31 or other arrangements can be made to mail the jersey to you at an additional cost. The website will be updated at least once a day with the current bids. The following jerseys are available:

Arena Update:

As hockey season is in full force for the ECHL, the ownership group of the Inferno continues to focus on bringing hockey back in our new facility for the 2009-10 season. The next few months will be important as the events center financing approaches completion and groundbreaking is announced. The process has been an arduous one, particularly with the economic climate over the past year. As soon as we know for sure, an official announcement will be made.
