Indy Fuel News Release
This week begins a stretch of eight straight divisional matches for the Fuel.They will play three games against Cincinnati, two each against Evansville and Quad City, and one versus Fort Wayne.Â
TEAM NOTES
Indy is 16-2-1-0 when scoring three-or-more-goals in a game this season.
Alex Lavoie is the first Fuel player to 30 points this season, and leads the team in both power play points (8) and power play assists (7).
Ben Marshall is T-9th in ECHL defensive scoring with 22 points and is the highest-scoring currently active rookie defenseman in the league.
IMS NIGHT
Celebrate the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 as the Indianapolis Motor Speedway invades Indiana Farmers Coliseum this Saturday, January 23 as the Fuel take on the Mallards. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for an up close look at these 235 miles-per-hour, 700 horsepower machines in Grand Hall by Indiana Farmers Coliseum beginning at 5 pm!
WINTER WHITEOUT
Warning - Initial forecasts call for whiteout conditions inside Indiana Farmers Coliseum on Friday, January 29! Arrive early before the Fuel host the Evansville IceMen for an outdoor street festival featuring ice sculptors, food and beverage and other fun activities. All ticket holders in attendance will receive an Indy Fuel "Whiteout" T-shirt!
INDY FUEL LIVE
The next installment of Indy Fuel Live will be on Tuesday, January 19.Broadcast live from Sinking Ship 2 at 4825 East 96th Street 6-7 pm, Indy Fuel Live will feature head coach Scott Hillman plus Fuel players. The show will air on Indy Fuel flagship station CBS Sports 1430 AM and streamed via www.cbssports1430.com or the TuneIn Radio app for your smartphone and tablet.
Those attending the show live will have a chance to help BattleLymes disease by making a $10 donation to the Green Army and the BattleLymes Foundation.Each person making a donation receives a t-shirt and is entered into a drawing to win four (4) tickets to an upcoming Fuel home game.
