ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, ends their season-long six-game home stand with a matinee matchup against the Brampton Beast.

MAGNIFYING THE MATCHUP
Today the Jackals conclude their season-long six-game home stand against the Brampton Beast. This matchup marks the fourth of 11 overall between Elmira and Brampton this season and the third of six at First Arena. The Jackals are 2-1-0 against the Beast this season, winning the first and third meetings. In the last matchup, four Jackals recorded multi-point efforts and C.J. Motte made 32 saves as the Jackals cruised to a 5-2 victory at the Powerade Centre. Elmira and Brampton split the first two meetings at First Arena with the Jackals earning this first win of the year against the Beast on Oct. 17 4-2. Brampton's 4-1 win on Nov. 14 was there first ever win in Elmira. The Jackals are 4-1-0 at home all-time against their neighbors to the north and have won seven of the first nine meetings in the series history.
