Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
Single-game tickets for the 2018 playoffs, presented by Provident Bank, are now available online, by phone and at the Coca-Cola Park ticket office.
With three weeks remaining in the 2018 season, the IronPigs hold a 10.5-game lead over their division-rival Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. The Pigs are seeking a third consecutive playoff appearance and their first International League North division title. The Pigs' magic number to clinch the division is currently 10.
Tickets start at just $8 and are available for each of the five potential home playoff contests the Pigs could play. Guests can save $2 per ticket by purchasing in advance of gameday.
The best way to guarantee the same seat for all five contests, however, is a five-game playoff pack. In the event of unplayed games, the remaining dollar value will be credited to a plan or individual game ticket purchases for the 2019 season.
Before the Pigs' first home playoff game, likely Friday, September 7, 5,000 guests will receive an IronPigs rally towel, presented by Service Electric Cable TV & Communications. The Friday evening contest will be followed by a special fireworks display.
Guests will be encouraged to wear red throughout the playoffs in support of the Pigs' bid to "Squeal the Deal" and bring home the team's first championship.
Individual playoff tickets are available as Games 1-5 with the first three being semifinal contests (likely ILDS games 3, 4 and 5) and playoff tickets 4-5 being the first two contests in the IL Championship Series (Governor's Cup).
Below is the tentative schedule for the IronPigs if they go on to win the IL North. The team would open the semifinals on the road before returning to Coca-Cola Park for as many as five games. Game dates and times are subject to change.
ROUND 1: IL Divisional Series
Game 1: Friday, September 7, 7:05 p.m.*
Game 2: Saturday, September 8, 6:35 p.m. (if necessary)*+
Game 3: Sunday, September 9, 5:35 p.m. (if necessary)*+
ROUND 2: IL Championship (Governor's Cup Finals)
Game 4: Tuesday, September 11, 7:05 p.m.*
Game 5: Wednesday, September 12, 7:05 p.m.*
*All game dates/times are subject to change
+ Game B would be September 5 and Game C would be September 6 if the Pigs instead claimed the IL Wild Card.
