
Independence Day festivities highlight next 'Topes homestand

The Albuquerque Isotopes return to Isotopes Park on Monday, June 26 for an eight-game homestand against the Omaha Royals (Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals) and Memphis Redbirds (top affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals) that is filled with great events, giveaways, and promotions, capped by back-to-back fireworks displays on July 2 and July 3 to celebrate Independence Day.

Come out and pay homage to Albuquerque's great baseball past with Dukes Retro Night on Tuesday, June 27 when the team will be sporting Dukes uniforms when they take on the Omaha Royals at 7:05 PM. .
PUBLIC SAFETY NIGHT SPONSORED BY ABQ CRIMESTOPPERS / SAFETY CARD SET GIVEAWAY
The Isotopes honor those brave men and women who keep us safe everyday with Public Safety Night sponsored by Albuquerque Crimestoppers on June 28 when the 'Topes take on Omaha at 7:05 PM. Members of area police and fire departments will be on hand to give away special Isotopes baseball cards with important safety tips on them before battling each other in the annual law-enforcement vs. firefighter pre-game tug-of-war.
ORBIT BOBBLEHEAD GIVEAWAY COURTESY COCA-COLA
One of the team's most popular promotions returns on Thursday, June 29 when the Isotopes wrap up their series with the Royals at 7:05 PM. Orbit Bobbleheads will be given away to the first 3,000 fans courtesy of Coca-Cola. Be sure to come early because they'll go fast!!

That friendly feathered fowl, Birdzerk! returns to Isotopes Park on Saturday, July 1 when the Isotopes battle Memphis at 7:05 PM for another great night of family entertainment, presented by Alltel.
CELEBRATE AN EARLY INDEPENDENCE DAY AT THE LAB!!
The July 4th holiday kicks off early at Isotopes Park with back-to-back nights of spectacular fireworks shows on both Sunday, July 2 and Saturday, July 3. The team will also be wearing special Red, White & Blue jerseys that will be part of a silent auction with proceeds supporting United Way of Central N.M. On Sunday, fans can get autographs from Isotopes outfielder Mike Colangelo and Orbit from 5:00 to 5:30 leading up to the 6:05 PM first pitch, as part of the third Albuquerque Journal Autograph Session of the season before settling in to enjoy the first two great fireworks shows. Monday, July 3, the homestand wraps up in style with another jaw-dropping fireworks show presented by First Community Bank.
