Independence Day Celebration Highlights Braves Upcoming Homestand

Mississippi Braves News Release


The Mississippi Braves are proud to announce the promotions for the upcoming home stand against the Chattanooga Lookouts. The M-Braves second and final four-game home stand gets underway with an Independence Day Celebration on July 4th. The M-Braves players will be wearing patriotic jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game. A special fireworks extravaganza will follow the game.

Thursday, July 5th is Thirsty Thursday at Trustmark Park and the Braves will give away Jeff Francoeur t-shirts to the first 1,000 fans through the gates. On Friday, July 6th, the Braves will give away the third in a series of souvenir baseballs to the first 1,500 fans before the Friday night fireworks extravaganza after the game.

As the Braves wrap up the four-game series on Saturday, July 7th, the Braves will give out the second in a series of commemorative card strips to the first 3,000 fans through the gates.

First pitch for each of the four games is scheduled for 7:05 pm. For a complete list of promotions and sponsors, see below:
