Diamond Jaxx to Play Doubleheader on Monday, July 2nd Beginning at 5:05pm

Yesterday's Southern League game between the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx and the Huntsville Stars was been postponed due to rain. The two teams will play a doubleheader tonight, Monday, July 2nd beginning at 5:05 CDT. Each game will be seven innings.

Righty Joe Woerman (3-4 3.16) will pitch the first game for the Diamond Jaxx while right-hander Travis Chick (2-1 2.45) will toe the rubber in the nightcap. On the mound for the Stars in game one will be left-hander Sam Narron (3-6 4.63) while righty Corey Thurman (2-5 4.89) takes the mound in the nightcap.

RALLY will be making an appearance at Pringles Park in the nightcap. It is also Budweiser Bucket Night at the ballpark. Fans 21 and over can purchase four sixteen ounce Budweiser's in a bucket for just twelve dollars.

Fans that had a ticket to this afternoon's game can exchange their tickets, based on availability, for any of the remaining twenty-eight games at Pringles Park this season. Tickets for tonight's game will be good for both games of the doubleheader.

Don't forget, tomorrow, July 3rd, the Diamond Jaxx will be celebrating Independence Day at Pringles Park. There will be a special FIREWORKS celebration sponsored by WBBJ ABC-TV 7 following the 7:05pm game. When gates open at 6:00pm, representatives from Don Pancho Mexican Restuarant will be at Pringles Park serving an all-you-can-eat buffet of delicious Mexican food to fans for only $10.00.

Tickets to each game of the remainder of the Diamond Jaxx home games during the 2007 season are available by calling the Diamond Jaxx Box Office at 731-988-5299. The Box Office is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday on non-game days and from 9:00am until every fan has left the ballpark on game days.
