WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Raley Field will host a first-of-its-kind Fourth of July celebration this Independence Day, when the food truck community will gather on Raley Field's outfield for a family-friendly event featuring some of the region's best local food, live music and a fireworks extravaganza, presented by Bug Zappers Pest Control.
The event, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 4, from 6-10 p.m. on the Raley Field outfield, costs just $8 for adults and $5 for children. The first 1,000 children will receive a free ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket.
"Fourth on the Field" will be set up similar to Brewfest, with food trucks parked along the warning track in the outfield. In addition, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
Live music and games will provide the evening's entertainment, capped off with one of the region's biggest and brightest fireworks displays, presented by Bug Zappers Pest Control.
Tickets for the inaugural "Fourth on the Field" event are limited, so patrons are encouraged to get them early. "Fourth on the Field" tickets go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, April 30, at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available online at ticketmaster.com or in person at Raley Field's Round Table Pizza Ticket Office.
