Two Fireworks Shows, T-Shirt Giveaway Highlight April 29-May 6 Homestand

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Grizzlies will begin an eight-game homestand on Monday, April 29 at Chukchansi Park. The Grizzlies will play a four-game series against Highway 99 Rivals, the Sacramento River Cats, from April 29-May 2, and a four-game series against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, from May 3-6.

The eight-game homestand kicks off on Monday, April 29 with Monday Madness, presented by ABC 30 and Wild Water Adventure Park. Fans can purchase 2 Field Box tickets, 2 hot dogs, 2 sodas, 2 Wild Water Adventure Park passes, and 2 Blackbeard's mini golf passes for just $32. The deal is only available on the day of the game and at the Chukchansi Park Box Office.

Tuesday, April 30 is Two For Tuesday. From tickets to food, Grizzlies fans are covered. Field Box tickets are two for the price one, meaning fans can get two tickets behind home plate for $19. Also, hot dogs, soda, and bags of popchips are $2 each, through the fourth inning.

On Wednesday, May 1, Everybody Wins-Day, presented by The Fresno Bee, and Wine Glass Wednesday, presented by CRU Wine Company, make their return. The Everybody Wins-Day ticket deal includes 2 Super View tickets and 2 vouchers for each the Fresno Chaffee Zoo, Jamba Juice, RaceRoom @ River Park, and John's Incredible Pizza Company for just $26! Also, Wine Glass Wednesdays means fans can receive a complimentary stemless CRU Wine Company wine glass when they purchase a glass of CRU wine at the game.

The final game of the rivalry series between Fresno and Sacramento on May 2 is Tecate Thursday. Tecate and Tecate Light are $1 (12 oz.) and $2 (24 oz.) through the fifth inning while soda is $1 all game long. Before the game, Streetlamp Junkie will perform live in the Tecate Cantina as part of the New Rock 104.1 Pregame Party.

On Friday, May 3, it is Farm Grown Friday. The Grizzlies will wear special Farm Grown jerseys, with a silent auction taking place during the game to benefit the Carolee Boele Memorial Scholarship. The first Farm Forum will be held on May 3, featuring former US Representative George Radanovich as the featured guest speaker in The CRU Club. Former City of Fresno mayor Alan Autry will host the Farm Forum. Also, there will be a Farmer's Market taking place along the concourse as fans can purchase items from local vendors and farmers. After the game, a post-game fireworks show will take place, presented by AgSafe.

The first 1,500 fans to the Grizzlies game on Saturday, May 4 will receive a limited edition Fresno Grizzlies t-shirt. There will also be a performance by the Drag Kings, presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino. First pitch is at 7:05 pm, with gates opening at 6:05 pm for general admission.

Sunday, May 5 is a special Cinco de Mayo celebration with Hispanic Heritage Night, presented by Tecate. The special 6:05 pm start will feature all the Sunday pre-game festivities come to expect, such as Future Giants and Parker Autograph Session and Stauffer's Animal Cracker's Pre-Game Parade, along with an appearance by Maya and Miguel from Valley PBS, presented by Wawona Frozen Foods. Stick around after the game as there will be a special fireworks show, presented by La Tapatia Tortilleria. After the fireworks show, it's Kids Run The Bases, presented by popchips.

The homestand wraps up on Monday, May 6, with a special 12:05 pm game and another Monday Madness. The day game is the first Making The Grade Day, where students from the Central San Joaquin Valley will take part in an educational field trip at a Grizzlies game. Gates open at 11:05 am for general admission.
