The Omaha Royals are back in action at Rosenblatt Stadium on Thursday, July 8 to open a four-day, five-game homestand vs. the Albuquerque Isotopes. It will be highlighted by a Ladies Night Diamond Dig, the annual Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest, Werner Enterprises Friday Fireworks and much more! These exciting promotions are on deck for Royals fans:
Thursday, July 8, 7:05 p.m.: It's Ladies Night, featuring a post-game diamond dig! The 1st 100 ladies to sign up can dig on the Rosenblatt infield for a pair of diamond stud earrings, as well as other prizes, courtesy of Borsheims! Plus, the festivities include a wine-tasting in the stadium's Hall of Fame Room. It's also Thirsty Thursday, when fans enjoy $1 beers and Cokes, courtesy of 96.1 The Brew, Action 3 News and The Reader!
Friday, July 9, 5:30 p.m. DOUBLEHEADER: Due to a rainout back in April, the Royals and âTopes meet in a twinbill, with the 1st pitch of the opening game at 5:30 p.m. Make sure you come to the ballpark early for the seventh annual FREE Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest! The event runs from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and includes a state-of-the-art Home Run Derby Video Game Arcade presented by Great Clips, free souvenir personalized baseball cards, FREE souvenir personalized baseball cards, a midway with batting and pitching cages, giant slides and many other attractions! Following the doubleheader, Werner Enterprises presents Friday Fireworks! The night is also presented by Twister 93.3, 1110 KFAB, KETV and The Reader.
Saturday, July 10, 7:05 p.m.: Come out to historic Rosenblatt Stadium to watch Breakin' BB McCoy as the former America's Got Talent star performs his crazy break-dancing moves between innings, presented by the American Dairy Association and the Dairy Council of Nebraska. Plus, if you are a fan of the Royals on Facebook or a follower on Twitter, you can receive ½-off on a Reserved Seat ticket through a pre-game offer exclusively on Facebook and Twitter! The night is also presented by Power 106.9, WOWT and The Reader.
Sunday, July 11, 1:35 p.m.: It's U.S. Bank Family FUNday, with clowns, face painting and balloon art. Subway Kids Club members get in FREE. After the game all kids are invited to run the bases with Casey, presented by Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. The day is also presented by KGBI 100.7 FM, Fox 42 and Family Spectrum Magazine.
