
First Place Redbirds Return on Thursday with Giveaway

Memphis Redbirds News Release
The division leading Memphis Redbirds host the 2nd place Nashville Sounds for a pivotal 5-game series in four days starting this Thursday, July 8th. Thursday's 7:05pm game features a Pacific Coast League Championship replica ring figurine giveaway to the first 2,000 fans through the gates at AZP presented by Pickler Wealth Advisors. Every Thursday is also Mug Club Night at the ballpark. Fans receive a Club level seat, an exclusive Redbirds mug, vouchers for 2 Coors Light draft beers, and discounted beers after that for $30. Special drink prices are available after the game at BB King's or Kooky Canuck using the mug.
The Redbirds and Sounds will play a double header on Friday with the first game starting at 6:05pm. The teams will play two games consisting of 7 innings each. The second game will start approximately 30 minutes after the first game ends. Gates will open at 5:30pm.
Saturday is Foundation Night as the Redbirds support the RBI and STRIPES programs with fun activities throughout the evening. After the game, fireworks will take place on the field presented by Lumiere Place Hotel & Casino. Also, the first 2,000 fans will receive fireworks glasses courtesy of Golf & Games. Game time is 6:05pm.
The Redbirds close out the homestand on Sunday with a 1:35pm game. Fans are able to experience a unique opportunity as all are welcome to play catch on field after the game. Every Sunday is also Smile Sunday presented by Delta Dental. All children will receive a free hygiene product upon entry. The first 500 fans will receive Redbirds FUNGO cards courtesy of CVS Pharmacies. Gates open at 1:00 pm.
