Idaho Stampede Announce Returning and Allocated Players

BOISE, Idaho, November 6, 2008 - Your Idaho Stampede announce today the list of returning and allocated players for the upcoming 2008-09 NBA Development League season. These players will bypass the D-League draft and are invited to the Idaho Stampede training camp which will begin November 17th, 2008.
The list of seven includes returning players, allocated players, and a local tryout player. Brent Petway, Jamaal Tatum and Jason Ellis are all returning players. Ryan Appleby from the University of Washington, and local fan favorites, Coby Karl and Reggie Larry from Boise State University are allocated players because of their close affiliation with Idaho. Tim Barnes will return to the Stampede training camp after his impressive showing during tryouts in October.
"We are thrilled about the guys we have coming to Boise for training camp," said Stampede Head Coach Bryan Gates. "Our coaching staff can't wait to get these guys into the gym and put our team together."
In addition to the returning, allocated and tryout players, the 2008 NBA D-League Draft will take place tomorrow, Friday November 7th at Legend's Sports Pub & Grill in Boise. The eighth annual draft will air live on NBA TV starting at 5:00 pm MST. Fans are encouraged to show up early and get a good view as the Stampede coaching staff makes their picks.
