66ers Announce Allocated and Returning Players

Tulsa, Okla., November 6, 2008 - The Tulsa 66ers announced today the list of allocated and returning players as assigned by the NBA Development League.

"These guys are all ready to be in Tulsa and excited about being a part of our franchise," 66ers Head Coach Paul Woolpert said. "This will be a very competitive training camp."

Returning players from last season include center Keith Closs, forward Chris Ellis and guards Jeremy Kelly and Russell Carter. Allocation players are based on region of the country where each player attended college, or on hometown. The NBA Development League allocated former University of Oklahoma guard Terrell Everett and former University of Notre Dame forward Ryan Humphrey.

In addition to the returning and allocated player lists, the 2008 NBA Development League Draft will take place on Friday, November 7 live on NBA TV starting at 7 p.m. ET. The draft will consist of ten rounds, and team will pick in a serpentine style format, where the last team in the first round will have the first pick in the second round. The 66ers have the first pick overall.

Training Camp will begin on Monday, Nov. 17 with practices at the SpiritBank Event Center. The 66ers will trim their roster to ten players before the start of their regular season on Friday, Nov. 28 at Rio Grande Valley.
