
Mad Ants Announce Allocated and Returning Players

Indiana Mad Ants News Release
Fort Wayne, IN (November 6, 2008)-The Fort Wayne Mad Ants announce today that seven players have been invited to the 2008-09 training camp. These players include four returning players, two allocated players, and one player invited from local player open try-outs.
The remaining ten spots on the training camp roster will be set Friday, November 7, as the Mad Ants have the sixth pick in the NBA D-League Draft. Coverage of the draft will be aired on NBA-TV starting at 7:00 PM.
Returning players from last season include Ron Howard, Eric Smith, Anthony Kyle, and Walker Russell Jr. Seven foot center Chris Hunter from the University of Michigan and center Anthony Kent from Ball State University were assigned to the Mad Ants by the NBA D-League as allocated players. Indiana-Purdue University Fort Wayne's own Dewitt Scott earned his training camp roster spot from local player open try-outs.
The Mad Ants will be holding a draft party at Crazy Pinz starting at 6:00 PM. Fans can meet and greet the players and coaches as well as the Madame Ants and The Mad Ant himself.
