IceDogs and OHL Release 2015/16 Schedule; Home Opener Set for October 1st

The Niagara IceDogs will open their 2015/16 home schedule on Thursday, October 1st at 7pm when they play host to the visiting Western Conference Champion Erie Otters!
The home opener will come a week after the IceDogs open the season with a northern road trip, visiting the Sudbury Wolves on Friday, September 25th for their season opener, before travelling to Sault Ste. Marie to take on the Greyhounds on Saturday, September 26th.
The IceDogs first chance for revenge against the Memorial Cup Champion Oshawa Generals will come at the Meridian Centre on Saturday, November 14th at 7pm, as the Generals make their lone trip of the regular season to Niagara.
The Hamilton Bulldogs will make their first of three visits to Niagara on Thursday, October 15th at 7pm, while the OHL's other newest team the Flint Firebirds will make their lone trip of the season to the Meridian Centre on Thursday, March 10th for a 7pm start.
Another schedule highlight includes the IceDogs annual New Year's Eve game and post game skate which will see the Kitchener Rangers make their only trip of the season to Niagara for a 6pm start. The IceDogs will also have a special 4pm start on Sunday, January 31st as the Hamilton Bulldogs visit as part of TVCogeco Hockey Day in the OHL.
