Rangers 2015-16 Regular Season Schedule Released

The Ontario Hockey League today announced the 2015-16 regular season schedule.

The Rangers kick off their 53rd season with the Home Opener on Friday, September 25 at 7:30 against Owen Sound at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex.

The tradition of Friday nights at The Aud will continue in 2015-16: the Rangers will play 21 Friday night home games, constituting over 60 percent of the home schedule.

This season's schedule also features a daytime matinee that you won't want to miss! Celebrate the Thanksgiving long weekend with the Rangers, when we host the Sudbury Wolves at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 12.

The Ontario Hockey League is committed to accommodating our student athletes by scheduling primarily on weekends. In total, 84 percent (57 of 68) of Kitchener's regular season contests will be played between Thursday and Sunday.

The overall Rangers home and away schedule breaks down as follows:

Monday (2) - 3%

Tuesday (7) - 10%

Wednesday (2) - 3%

Thursday (6) - 9%

Friday (25) - 36%

Saturday (12) - 18%

Sunday (14) - 21%
