IceCats Recall Goalie

WORCESTER, MA – St. Louis Blues Senior Vice President/General Manager and Worcester IceCats General Manager of Hockey Operations Larry Pleau announced today that the IceCats have recalled goaltender Levente Szuper from the IceCats ECHL affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.

Szuper has participated in six games with the Illinois-based Rivermen this season, compiling a record of 2-3-1, with one shutout and a 3.79 goals against average. His latest action for the Rivermen came on Saturday, turning aside 29 of 33 shots a 4-3 win over the Dayton Bombers.

Szuper made his IceCats debut, in relief, on Saturday, October 18th in Binghamton, facing 16 shots.

The IceCats are on the road for three games, before returning to Worcester's Centrum centre for a 7:05 face off with the Lowell Lock Monsters on Wednesday, November 26th.
