
Reich Climbs Crunch\'s All-Time List

REICH MOVES INTO SECOND PLACE: Left wing Jeremy Reich (526) took over sole possession of second place on the Crunch's all-time penalty minute list, recording five minutes Saturday night vs. Cincinnati. Reich now trails John Badduke by 123 minutes for first all-time. In 15 games with the Crunch this season, Reich has tallied two goals, five assists and 45 penalty minutes. A native of Craik, Saskatchewan, Reich has appeared in 208 American Hockey League games (all with Syracuse), tallying 31 goals and 34 assists. Originally drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks with their third choice, 39th overall, in the 1997 Entry Draft, Columbus signed Reich as a free agent on May 17, 2000.
POWER PLAY REMAINS TOP IN AHL: The Crunch's power play unit (24.3%, 17-for-70) remains atop of the American Hockey League entering this week. In addition to their league best 24.3% rate, the Crunch are tied for the AHL lead with 17 power play goals.
FIRST LOSS AT HOME: With Saturday's 2-0 defeat at the hands of the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, the Crunch were the last AHL club to lose at home this season, recording a 4-0-1 mark through their first five games.

"Skate with the Syracuse Crunch" at the Onondaga Nation Arena: The Syracuse Crunch announced today that Crunch players Aaron Johnson, Ben Knopp, Joe Motzko, Tyler Sloan, Brandon Sugden and Paul Traynor will be skating and signing autographs at Tsha'Hon'nonyen'dakhwa on Sunday, November 23 from 4:30pm â 6:00pm.
Tsha'Hon'nonyen'dakhwa arena is located just south of Nedrow on Rt.11 (Salina Street) next to Onondaga Nation Smoke Shop. Take I-81 Exit 16 and go north ¼ mile. Parking is free. Call the arena at 498-6813 for more info on arena events.
Tsha'Hon'nonyen'dakhwa is the Official Practice Facility of the Syracuse Crunch.
All are welcome to be a part of this fundraising event which goes toward supporting the Onondaga Nation Sports Teams.
Crunch players will be competing in a Hardest Shot Competition which will clock their slap shot by the arena's radar gun.
Crunch souvenirs and pictures will be given away, as supplies last, to fans attending the Family Skate. Family Skate is from 4:15 pm-7:15 pm.

Tsha'Hon'nonyen'dakhwa is also the practice facility of the CNY Synchronettes skaters. The CNY Synchronettes practice from 2-4 pm every Sunday and welcome all Crunch fans to come early and enjoy the afternoon by watching their practice as they prepare for competition out of state.

Crunch To Sign Autographs At Gold's Gym: On Monday, November 24 Crunch players Trent Cull, Karl Goehring and Darrel Scoville will be at Gold's Gym in Liverpool from 5:30 â 6:30 p.m. to sign autographs. Fans that sign-up for a year membership will receive 30 days free and be registered to win a prize pack from the Crunch.

CrazyGrazer.com Night at the Crunch: Friday, November 21 will be CrazyGrazer.com night at the Crunch, when all fans in attendance will receive a CrazyGrazer.com puck.
Visitors to online shopping mall CrazyGrazer.com will soon be able to score hot deals on cool hockey merchandise when the site opens its newest branded store for the Syracuse Crunch. The Crunch store is the first pro sports team to be granted its own store on CrazyGrazer.com.
The Syracuse Crunch store on CrazyGrazer.com is expected to open this week. The Crunch and CrazyGrazer.com will celebrate the new store's opening at the November 21 game between the home team Crunch and the visiting Rochester Americans at the War Memorial at Oncenter 7:30 p.m.

New York State Lottery Night at the Crunch: The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the New York State Lottery will be on hand on November 22, when the Crunch host the Cleveland Barons, to distribute lotto coupons to the first 500 people in attendance redeemable for $1 off a New York Lottery's Free Play game.
During the game, fans will be selected at random to participate in the New York State Lottery intermission puck shoot-out. The two shoot-out winners will receive 25 "Money Tree" Instant Game Tickets. "Money Tree" offers players a chance to win a top prize of $25,000 on each ticket.
The New York State Lottery will also be on hand on January 9 and February 13.
THIS WEEK'S OPPONENTS:
ROCHESTER (BUFFALO SABRES): Rochester visits Syracuse on Friday, November 21 for the third of 12 regular season meetings. The series is tied at 1 apiece after Rochester defeated the Crunch 5-2 on October 26 in Rochester. Center Derek Roy leads all players with four points (2g, 2a). Several Crunch players are tied with two points each. Pascal Leclaire posted Syracuse's win, recording 39 saves. Rochester goaltender Ryan Miller has appeared between the pipes in both games, recording a 2.00 goals against average and .897 save percentage. Lifetime, the Crunch are 38-51-13 against the Amerks.
CLEVELAND (SAN JOSE SHARKS): The Crunch host the Cleveland Barons on Saturday, November 22 for the second of eight regular season meetings. Syracuse won in their first meeting 6-4 on October 21. Defenseman Garrett Stafford leads all players with three points (1g, 2a). Several Crunch players are tied at two points each. Pascal Leclaire recorded the win for Syracuse, recording 20 saves. Dimitri Patzold appeared in net for Cleveland, recording 21 saves. Lifetime, Syracuse is 10-6-1 against the Barons.
NATIONWIDE INSURANCE COLUMBUS UPDATE: The Blue Jackets enter this week fifth in the Central Division with 13 points (5-9-2-1), two points behind Nashville. Todd Rohloff made his Columbus debut on Sunday, November 16 in their 2-2 tie against Phoenix. Right wing David Vyborny leads the Blue Jackets with 13 points (9g, 4a). There are currently seven players on the Columbus roster that have appeared in a Crunch jersey (Jody Shelley, Kent McDonell, Duvie Westcott, Derrick Walser, David Ling, Todd Rohloff and Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre).
INJURY UPDATE: Defenseman Trent Cull is expected to miss four to six weeks with a broken foot that he suffered on October 28. Cull has missed eight games with the injury... Defenseman Paul Traynor is listed as day-to-day with a bruised foot that he suffered on October 29 against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Traynor has missed seven games with the injury.
