The Winnipeg ICE have recalled defenseman Omen Harmacy from the Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League's Winnipeg Thrashers.
In 16 games with the Thrashers this season, Harmacy has one goal and nine assists for 10 points and 38 penalty minutes. Harmacy had two assists last night for the Thrashers in a 4-3 victory over the Interlake Lightning.
The 5'11", 184 pound blue liner was selected by the ICE in the eighth round, 168th overall in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.
The ICE play host to the Red Deer Rebels at 2:00 this afternoon at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena.
Today's game is dedicated to the Christmas Cheer Board, who strives to provide a festive holiday experience for Winnipeggers in need. Christmas Cheer Board staff and volunteers will be in attendance collecting new unwrapped toys for newborn children to those 14 years of age.
